When Love is Costly

Big Idea
When love becomes costly, hearts reveal what they worship. Jesus walks toward the cross willingly, not as a victim of events, but as the Savior who gives Himself for the life of the world.
Law: We fear losing control, reputation, and comfort. We justify compromise and call it “wisdom,” even when it resists God’s truth.
Gospel: Jesus does not protect Himself. He gives Himself. His death is not failure but the Father’s saving plan, and His love is stronger than our fear.
